- The Miami Vice episode Forgive Us Our Debts might be the epitome of 1980s television; it is certainly a showcase of 1980s computing with glimpses of an Apple II, AT&T PC 7300s, Commodore Amiga 1000s, and, a Starring-the-Computer newcomer, the Kaypro Robie.

- Family Sins and The Best of Times both have small roles for the Apple IIc.

- Computercide has a scene with a couple of IBM AN/FSQ-7 panels standing in for a library computer. Not remarkable in itself, as this machine appears in many many films, but it is the first appearance that I have found on my own without the help of Mike Loewen's excellent site on the subject!

- Battlestar Galatica features Starring-the-Computer's first Tektronix 4051 as well as some IBM AN/FSQ-7 panels. The following also feature SAGE panels: the first episode of the second season of The Invaders, the final episode of FlashForward, The Time Tunnel (alongside Burroughs B205 tape drives), Electra Woman and Dyna Girl and Brave New World.

- Another couple of Commodore Amiga 1000 appearances have been added to the database for Game Set and Match and an episode of Alfred Hitchcock Presents called User Deadly.

- The Season 6 episode of Perry Mason The Case of the Meddling Medium features a small but import role for Starring-the-Computer's first, and probably only, Clary DE-60.

- Two laptops make their Starring-the-Computer debut: The Expendables has a IBM Thinkpad R50, and The Parent Trap has a Toshiba Satellite Pro 4200/4300.

- All three Mission Impossible films have something to offer to Starring the Computer. Mission: Impossible has an Apple Powerbook 540c and an IBM Thinkpad 701, Mission: Impossible II has an Apple Powerbook G3 and Mission: Impossible III has an OQO Model 1 and, making its Starring-the-Computer debut, a Getac M220.

- Two films featuring cyborgs and the odd computer have been added to the database. Eliminators has an Amstrad CPC 6128 and an ICL 7500, and Programmed to Kill has an Olivetti M20, a Tandy TRS-80 Model III, and a Starring-the-Computer newcomer, the Data General Eclipse MV/20000.

- The Lovejoy episode Scotch on the Rocks provides the Commodore Amiga 3000 with its first Starring-the-Computer appearance.

- Revenge of the Nerds II features two Zenith portables that make their first appearance on Starring the Computer: the Z-171 and the Z-181.

- Der Baader Meinhof Komplex features a Siemens System 4004 and Never Say Never Again has a fleeting glimpse of some Olivetti M20s. Also, there is a Commodore 64C in Sensations, a Commodore Amiga 1000 in The Tower and Interface has loads of Tandy TRS-80 Model 12s.
