- Episode 5 of the first season of Press Gang features an important role for the Starring-the-Computer newcomer Amstrad PC 1512, and an Apple Macintosh SE. The Zenith Z-120 make its first appearance in The Barbaric Beast of Boggy Creek, Part II and a Sun Microsystems SPARCstation 1 and English Electric System 4 also appear for the first time on the site in The Pelican Brief and Hot Millions, respectively.

- Three 1990s films have been added to the database, each of which contributes a new computer. Iron Thunder offers a Brother Opus WP510 as well as an Epson HX-20, Evolver has a pair of PS/2s, a IBM PS/2 Model 55 and newcomer Model 53, and New World Disorder has Starring-the-Computer's first Toshiba Satellite 300CDT.

- Starting with some Apples, The Facts of Life, Season 5 Episode 10 has an Apple II, Twin Peaks, Season 2 Episode 11 has a Macintosh Portable, and the very first episode of The Ray Bradbury Theater has an Apple Macintosh, and a rare appearance for a Grid Compass. The Paper Chase, Season 2 Episode 7 features a TRS-80 Color Computer, Amazing Stories, Season 2 Episode 12 has a Commodore Amiga 1000, Murder She Wrote, Season 8 Episode 5 has a load of IBM PS/2s, Step By Step, Season 1 Episode 13 has a crucial role for a Zenith Supersport and Step By Step, Season 1 Episode 13 has a brief glimpse of a Sony SMC-70. Finally there are four machines making their Starring-the-Computer debuts. The very first episode of Mannix has a IBM 1460 which is replaced with a Burroughs B200 for the remainder of Season 1, The New Avengers, Season 2 Episode 2 has ICL 7500 hardware and there is a Torch 300 in Dempsey and Makepeace, Season 2 Episode 2. Phew!

- Thanks to Bear for pointing out the (new to Starring the Computer) Symbolics 3600 in Real Genius. The Stepfather has a couple of Apple machines: an Aluminum iMac and a Macbook Pro. Finally, the Australian film Sky Trackers has an important role of an Atari ST.
