Above the Altair you can just about see cream coloured set of keys. This is a re-cased ZX81 with a Maplin Keyboard. The ZX81 was put into a wooden case with proper keyboard, 16K rampack and power supply. What a beast!!!

I own an Altair 8800 that I managed to pick up a few years back at a local electronics junkyard for $100.00 (!) - I am missing the top, and it has the common Z-80 upgrade (among other boards). I am looking for a top, if anyone can direct me to someone manufacturing them (I got in contact with the original case manufacturer; they no longer produced the case, nor did they have the plans anymore). My Altair is in pretty good shape by all appearances, but it is VERY dirty. I am not planning on selling it; I intend to restore it someday. If you have any helpful information on the 8800, please go to my website @ http://www.phoenixgarage.org/ and use the contact form.
