David uses his ST for hacking, but they seems to prefer the Commodore.

The 64 is in use at the computer fair Karl visits.
Commodore 64C
The 64C is in use at the computer fair Karl visits.
I'm not sure, but I think that the visit to the fare happens before the release of the 64C.
Commodore SX64
Karl uses his Commodore for almost all of his hacking exploits, indeed it appears to be his pride and joy.
Ericsson Portable PC
The pair use the portable PC to hack from hotel rooms and phone boxes once they suspect their apartment is no longer safe.
This machine was not fitted with batteries, so its use in the phone box is suspect.
IBM AS/400 B-Series
When their other computers prove to be inadequate the guys buy a second-hand "PDP-11", in fact an AS/400, to help them crack passwords, but are unable to use it because of a lack of three-phase power and air conditioning.
Well it's not a PDP-11, but even given that the AS/400 would have been more or less new when this film was set and buying one second hand would not have been feasible.
