Jason's family are addicted to The Stuff and play a game on their Atari 800 whilst trying to persuade Jason to try it.

In a disused mine a strange white foam is discovered oozing out of the ground. The mysterious substance tastes delicious and is soon being marketed as "The Stuff". Schoolboy Jason and Mo Rutherford, an investigator for a rival food company, are among those who suspect The Stuff is dangerous.
