Brainstorm (1983)

A research team led by Dr Michael Bruce and Dr Lillian Reynolds invent a device that is capable of recording a persons experiences. Michael fights to prevent the government from taking over the project and tries to retreive a tape of Lillian's experience of death.

The 1620's front panel, or part of it, stands in for a component of the lab computer. The 1620 model was scrapped 13 years before this film was made.
