Contrary to the comments above, the O2s pictured are not O2+, juts regular O2s. The O2+ was colored purple, whereas the original O2 was colored green/blue. The confusion probably came from the updated SGI logo.
I would note that for at least some period of time, SGI O2(+)'s permeated local weather news channels in Metro areas. They really were the least-expensive, and yet powerful enough (NUMA, yo) to sling weather graphics around in real-time. The silly part is: These things are still fast enough to keep up with PCs in certain applications.
A lot of times, you'd see an O2(+) right next to the 'weather desk'. SGI really did make them look good enough to actually put on the news and in movies.
