This movie probably takes place in present day, or at least some time after 1999. That means the Mac would be about nine years old. I don't know if that's 100% realistic. Of course, I have a Mac Classic and I'm still using it to this day, but it's not good for everyday use and therefore isn't realistic to have in an average kid's room.
