I'm guessing the producers (or whoever was responsible for the props - I forgot what the role would be called) intended for a 128k to be there, but the prop house probably didn't have one or even a 512k (similar faceplate) at the time of filming, so they probably went with a Plus, hoping that no viewer (of the film) would notice the period-incorrectness.
