We were always amazed that Ernie Borgnine's big digits could even type on these little keys, however production concept artist/designer, Andrew Probert's vision to use the Workslate (to give a truly portable vision) was, like a lot of the things he came up with for the helicopter, were amazing. And the Workslate *still* looks futuristic, but functional nowadays.

The show's new producers replaced the Convergent Workslate with another computer (with ABCD keys) in the Canadian Airwolf II series, during the so-called Season 4 (ref: 'Salvage' episode) though.
