A number of 800XLs appear in the lab where they open the amphora, one being used as some sort of intercom.
Jan Tarnas, a professor interested in ancient languages is approached by ex-military pilot Bernard Traven with an ancient manuscript describing the location of a great treasure. Together with a journalist they travel to the Valley of a Thousand Snakes.
